THE ONLINE COURSE CONSISTS OF FIVE PARTS
Without Time nor Space…
“This chapter tells us about the Maya Cosmosgenisis, how and why life was created on this planet by the Creators, the makers and modelers, called: Tepeu, Gukumatz, and Hurakan. And also the wonderful presence and power of the Heart of the Sky and the Heart of the Earth, to create the mountains, lakes, rivers and then all theanimals such as deer, jaguars, snakes, pumas and birds … And then finally to attempt to create the human being, first of mud, then wood, and finally tzite. It even tells us of the appearan- ce of Seven Guacamaya in the middle of the history of the creation …” Miguel Angel Vergara.
Story of Seven Guacamaya and their Sons, Zipacna and Cabracan
“This is the extraordinary story of how Hunahpu (the Sun) and Ix’Balanke (the Moon) defeated the proud Lord Seven Guacamaya and his two sons, Zipacna (who could move mountains) and Cabracan (who could make the ground tremble). The Lords Hunahpu and Ix’Balamke, represented the Sun and the Moon in a battle against evil, the conflict within humans between the light and the dark and only with Light and Love (the Sun and the Moon) could they achieve the great defeat of these 3 Lords who clearly represent symbolically the “ego” and how it is associated with pride, force and the misuse of power.” Miguel Angel Vergara
First Journey to the Underworld
“This story is based on the Ball Game, whose scenario is symbolically the Xibalba or Bo- lontiku, the Kingdom of the Underworld. This first part tells the story of One and Seven Hunahpu who traveled to the Underworld to battle the Lords of Xibalba. Losing the battle in a moment of distraction One Hunahpu was able to miraculously pass his seed to a maiden, the Maya Moon Priestess named Ix’Quit (Blood Moon).”
Second Journey to the Underworld
“Here the maiden, Blood Moon, gives birth to twins who grow up playing the Ball Game. The Lords of Xibalba invite the Maya Twins, Hunahpu and Ix’Balamke to compete in a Ball Game where they are subjected to very difficult tests and initiations in each one of the nine dimensions of the Kingdom of Xibalba. They emerge victorious, defeating the Lords of Xibalba and return to the Sky as the Sun and the Moon, Day and Night, the forces that have protected and loved Humanity since the creation of the Universe. Hunahpu (the Sun) and Ix’Balamke (the Moon) are the forces inside you, always available to help you pass the tests of life and its obstacles and rise to another level with a higher state of consciousness and self-illumination.” Miguel Angel Vergara
The Creation of Human Beings
After various attempts to create human beings, including making them out of mud, wood, and tzite, the creators and modelers spoke with Grandmother Ix’Mukane who then created humans by mixing the white corn and the yellow corn with the blood of the rattlesnake. When doing so, there appeared:
Balam Kitze / Balam Akab / Mahukatan / Iki Balam
These first four human beings were made by the Creator and represent the fathers and grandfathers of the Maya Wisdom. After a time the Creators had four women who represent the mothers and grandmothers of the Maya Wisdom, join them as their spouses. Their names are:
Caha Paluna / Chomiha / Tzuninha / Haquixaha
These were the Fathers and Mothers of Humankind, according to the Maya.” Miguel Agnel Vergara
