Out of the Maya Sacred Book, the Popol Vuh, comes a story of Four Master Teachers,
The Four Balams, who descended from the Pleiades at a time the Earth was in chaos
and in need of guidance. Their wives joined them and then they moved out in four
directions to teach the Sacred Knowledge. Miguel Angel Vergara relates their story as
we struggle through the chaos of our time today, searching for the knowledge needed to
lead us back into the Light.

The Popol Vuh is the source of many extraordinary stories from the Maya. This one
teaches a path out of chaos, others deal with the battle between good and evil, the
Xibalba (the underground), and many situations we still seem to need guidance on
today. We will be offering a four-part series on the Popol Vuh in April. Watch for it.
