MAYA-COSMOVISION: A Creation Story

In the Maya Culture many of the creation stories come from the Oral Tradition of the Maya Elders. This one is a narration from Don Pascual, a Maya Priest who told the Story of the 4 Balams. He said: “When this humanity was lost after the Great Father punished them for having become vain and forgetting their Creator…He sent our First Grandfathers, the 4 Balams from the Pleiades Constellation. They were great wise men, visionaries and incredible Wizards.
