The Tomb of Pakal Votan was found in 1952 and for years the story of Palenque revolved around his life and teachings. In 1994 the Tomb of the Red Queen was discovered and then the story of Palenque opened up to include the Sacred Feminine. It was always there, we just weren’t ready to see it.
